Privacy Policy
How PWP Health collects, uses, and protects the information you share with us.
Last updated: August 7, 2026
PWP Health ("PWP Health," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at pwphealth.com (the "Site"), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site and to the contact and referral forms available on it.
If you are a current or former client, the health information we hold as part of your care is also protected by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and by our separate Notice of Privacy Practices, which governs that information. Where our Notice of Privacy Practices and this Privacy Policy differ with respect to protected health information, the Notice of Privacy Practices controls.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you fill out our contact form or referral form, or otherwise reach out, you may give us your name, email address, phone number, the name of a person you are referring, your state, and any details you choose to include in your message. Please share only what is necessary, and avoid sensitive clinical details you would not want sent by email.
Health information. Because we are a mental health provider, some of what you share may relate to your or another person's health or care needs. We treat this information as confidential and handle it in line with applicable law.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our Site may collect limited technical information such as your browser and device type, general location, pages visited, and the dates and times of your visits. We use this to keep the Site working and to understand how it is used.
Cookies and analytics
Our Site may use cookies and similar technologies, including basic analytics, to remember your preferences and measure how the Site is used. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when they are sent, though some parts of the Site may not work properly without them.
How we use your information
- To respond to your messages, referrals, and requests.
- To provide, coordinate, and follow up on care and services.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site.
- To keep the Site and our systems secure.
- To meet our legal and professional obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use what you submit through the Site for third-party advertising.
How we share information
We share personal information only in limited circumstances:
- Service providers. Vendors who help us run the Site and our practice, such as hosting, email, and form processing, under agreements that require them to protect it.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect a person's safety, or respond to an emergency.
- With your direction. When you ask us to share information, or with your consent.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send highly sensitive information through the Site's forms or by unencrypted email.
How long we keep your information
We keep personal information for as long as needed to respond to you, to provide and document care, and to meet our legal, professional, and recordkeeping obligations, after which we take steps to delete or de-identify it.
Your choices and rights
- Ask what information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete information, subject to our legal and recordkeeping obligations.
- Opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state or federal law. To make a request, contact us using the details below. Requests involving your health record may be handled under our Notice of Privacy Practices and applicable law.
Children's privacy
Our Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information through the Site. When we provide care to minors, we do so through our clinical processes with appropriate consent, not through the Site. If you believe a child has provided information through the Site, please contact us.
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is not yet a common standard for responding to these signals, our Site does not currently respond to them.
Links to other sites
Our Site may link to other websites and resources, such as the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of sites we do not operate, and we encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above and post the revised policy on this page. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
